On Saturday, October 6, 2012, from 9 AM to 1 PM, Ossining will host an Anti-Fracking Festival. The festival, held at Market Square, is themed “For the Love of Water.”

The festival will include live music, children’s art and nature activities, and speeches from local advocacy groups and village officials. Last time I checked, water was important to human (and all) life, so this looks like a great way to have some fun and get educated on our most important resource!

White Plains-based WESPAC is putting on the event.
